RAMS for carpenters: common questions

What hazards does a carpentry RAMS cover?
Contact with saws and power tools, wood dust (a known carcinogen — extraction and masks), manual handling of timber and sheet goods, and working at height for first-fix and roofing work. The construction library covers plant, dust and handling.
Is wood dust a serious hazard?
Yes — hardwood dust is a recognised carcinogen and softwood dust irritates the airways. The dust controls (on-tool extraction, FFP3 masks) are pre-filled; keep them for cutting and sanding.
Is this RAMS generator free?
